Since I''ll hopefully be interviewing for summer jobs soon, I think I *need* a pair of tasteful and professional-looking diamond studs to amp up my style and give me lots of sparkly self-confidence

. Some of the WF ready-sets are in my price range (or at least, not unjustifiably far out of it) but I don''t know what to get! I think I remember a lot of people saying that the 3-prong martini is a great setting, and I love the looks of the 8-prong martini but I''m wondering if it would overwhelm a smaller stone. And the 4-prong baskets are a bit cheaper, which is appealing since I am a student...

Which brings me to my real question -- does anyone know whether the carat weight listed is total ctw for the pair, or per stone? Either it doesn''t say or I can''t find it. I don''t want anything big, since I''m going for a polished but not flashy look (and something that works for everyday wear as well), but I''m a little confused. I just want to know what I''m looking at for each price.

Any advice? Thanks in advance!

It''s total, so each stone is half of that. The "ctw" stands for carat total weight.

Ahh, thanks! I thought it stood for carat weight...in my mind, total carat weight would be "tcw," which is probably why I was confused!

My advice would be to consider their regular stones that can be upgraded later.

Got to agree on this one! You could later trade them in for larger diamond earrings

However the WF RSG''s are not upgradable.

One more thing- I love the 8 prong martini''s! They are my favorite WF earrings.

I know, and while I''d love to do this I don''t think I can afford it. I really shouldn''t be buying any sort of jewellry at this point, but it really does add to "the look" and unfortunately that can make a big difference. Since I don''t want to throw away money on something cheap and crummy, and this seems like the next best option.

Well, let me just say that you can get the "look" another way for temporary purposes, and wait and save until you can get the upgradable diamond studs.
