Hello everyone! I am so excited, the CADs for my wband are done. It''s just a simple 2mm channel set band in ygold, with little ACAs, 3/4 eternity

Do these CADs look ok to you? I think they look fine, but I thought it would be a good idea to get feedback before I proceed with the final custom. You know the old saying about more than one set of eyes, or some such thing......

Looks gorgeous Honey! What will the tcw be?

To my untrained eye your band looks beautiful, the sides may look a little heavy but I think that is normal in a CAD from others I have seen.

That is going to be one beautiful band and it will make a stunning set :D

Hey AJ, I guess I should know that hey?

It''s only a thin band, so it couldn''t be that much. Off to check.

Found it - 0.30ctw, F VS ACA melee

Hey Dee, I thought the same thing about the bulk, but it''s just the CADs, there will be less metal, and the edges will be softer. So can''t wait

I figured that would be the case, but I thought I would mention it just in case.

I think your ring is going to look stunning especially with that stunner of a ring you have :D

I think it will be lovely!

Will it have holes underneith?

It''s beautiful and just screams class.

ooh, very pretty.

that is beautiful

They look great! Can''t wait to see the finished product!

Your CADs look great!

I think they will look perfect together. Now you will just have to find a way to keep from wearing it until Sept.

Thankyou all so much for your kind comments.

Sharon101 - I have no idea whether it will have holes underneath?

Should I have holes? Do I need holes? It''s a 3/4 eternity, so the holes wouldn''t be visible in the bottom of the CAD drawing anyway, but I am not sure if there are holes under the stones. Probably should check?

I love it! I love thin bands and I think that as a 2mm band that will look perfectly delicate.

Lovely!

Things always look thicker in CADs than the final product, right? I haven''t looked at a lot of CADs in my time!

I love it!

Very pretty!

You are right musey, the CADs always look bulkier and heavier. They can be very offputting, but I have learnt from my ering, not to stress, the final product will look perfect!!

Love it! It''s beautiful!

I meant to say it looks gorgeous too!!!!

I have become obsessive about holes because of a comment that I read here once in a debate about their imprtance!!!!!

It was noted that `crud` somehow manages to find its way behind the diamonds aqnd in some cases will turn the gold there black which may impact the diamonds appearance. It was also mentioned that chemicals that we come in contact with could settle behind and also cause some darkness over time.

So I am always looking for holes.....rightly or wrongly!!!!!

It was a deciding factor in the last eternity ring that I turned down even though it was beautiful.

Those look great!

I think it looks great and the final product will be a bit more delicate than the CADs look from my experience.

It''s beautiful!
There''s something very classic about a thin channel-set band...

It's lovely! I have a full eternity almost identical, only it's 4mm - it's a Varna band. I think you'll love it.

All CADS I''ve ever seen look boxy to me, and then the rings turn out beautifully. I think it''s going to be a real beauty!

i love the ring. i love the thinness of that wedding band, and the more protected channel set diamonds.
oooooo yep, im really lovin that!!! cant wait to see the final product with hand shots!!! gorgeous
