WF ACA less expensive than BGD Signature?

I've been doing some looking at diamonds 2ct + lately and it seems like WF's ACA's are a bit cheaper than BGD Signature stones (of comparable specs of course). When I searched for it, I found this thread. Does anyone have any idea why? Is it just that BGD is a smaller outfit?

If you compared diamonds with the same specs at 10 different vendors, you'd see 10 different prices. They get stones in at different times and their cost might be different on a stone they got in 6 months ago as compared to one coming into stock today. Their markup may be different for many reasons. It's no different than gas stations or grocery stores having different prices.

Hm, that makes perfect sense. You're right that the cost of the stone would vary depending on the market and timing.
