Trying to sit down and relax in my dress... (Between the bustier I had on and how tightly I was laced into the dress''s corset, it wasn''t very easy! I had to keep leaving during dinner to have someone loosen it for me, haha.)
Wow! That''s an amazing wedding right there. I especially loved your flowers. I''m sorry people were less than well behaved, but at least you had a memorable wedding! Congratulations.
Espressa- when I came across the first photo of you and DH having your first dance tears sprang to my eyes. You both look so serene. Its a very touching photo.
It looks like you had a gorgeous wedding! Sorry to hear about the stress leading up to it but I am so glad it turned out OK and that you''re MARRIED!
I hope you feel better soon and can fully enjoy the remainder of your honeymoon.
Beautiful! Congratulations! It''s funny that you didn''t know what to do when cutting the cake! We had the same problem, especially since we didn''t know if we should cut into the real flowers that were on the cake! Our piece ended up looking like a jumbled mess, and was not nearly the size of a real piece!
I love your photos and how awesome that you were surrounded by family and friends in ITALY!! I can just imagine your stress re the complaining guests. I felt the same way - and I wasn''t living with them the days before my wedding!!
I''m sorry to hear about the frustration with the guests. I can''t imagine ever complaining to the bride about the accommodations! (Especially when it was a castle!) I''m glad to hear there were people who could run some interference for you and that you could get some peace.
Your photos are really beautiful. I wish more town halls in the U.S. looked like the ones in Italy! The town hall, the town, and the castle all look so pretty. What an amazing experience! Congratulations to you and your new husband, and may you treasure these memories for many happy years together.
Oh, I am SOOOOOO jealous. I loved, loved, loved Cortona when I went to Italy. Those pics bring back some wonderful memories. So sorry your guests couldn''t "do like the Romans do" and understand that they were in a centuries old castle in a small Italian hilltown, and not at the Hilton!
Wow, you did a wonderful job of planning your wedding from afar! The flowers, cake, even the town hall were gorgeous. I''m sorry your guests were complainers but it sounds like you''ve already put it behind you so you can remember the wonderful parts of it all! (You''re a better person than I...I would probably ruminate about it for a week or two at least.) Congratulations and I hope the weather in Paris clears up soon!
Everything looks incredible. But I gotta tell you, your flowers were FLAT OUT AMAZING. WOW! I think your wedding has my favorite flowers of any wedding on here TO DATE (that includes mine, which were perfect for me, but objectively, your just blows them away).
