Hi emerald cut experts. I'm looking a good value but well cut emerald cut to make a 3 stone ring. I have this one on hold for me, and there is no option to get an ASET for it :(2

I'm trying to work out if it looks like a good performer or not. It seems to have plenty of life in the video, but I'm thinking its a bit of an odd shape for an emerald cut. but maybe this can be disguised with claws once its set? ......

Opinions greatly appreciated =)2

IMO (no emerald expert), it looks like the steps are lighting up pretty nicely. I'm thinking it may be a decent performer.
I see what you mean about the windmills. I tend to like mine more angled. I do think double claw prongs would tend to
draw attention away from the corners. Not sure how much though...we need a CAD...

If you feel you need to disguise a pretty major aspect of a diamond then I would say keep looking.

What's weird with the corners? Is it that the left side of a chamfer is a different angle than the right side? That's not a deal breaker for ME, but I agree, one should not have the urge to disguise an aspect of a stone.

Nothing bothers me more than viewing an EC on the P2!!! I believe the stone needs to be positioned vertically, for best examination. I agree: CAD would be very helpful.
Based on the video, it appears to be a winner, but more visual aids would help to make that determination.
If the shape bothers you, this isn’t your diamond; it’s best to keep looking...
