Spark, another veil? What about your purty one?

Allieluv has some great green ones, I think from J.Crew.

No Tiffany blues, but it does come in black, brown, red and purple, and it''s on sale for $25. So if you like it, and you have another occasion to wear them too, or you like one of the other colors, I''d snap it up.

tee hee. Good - let us know how it goes!
Yep, another one. The purty one is only one layer ... I need a shorter layer too.

OK gals, get ready for a blast from the past.

My NINE (yes, 9!) year-old Van Eli prom shoes. Still in great condition, and still fabulous.

I toyed with the idea of getting new ones but just HAD to wear these!

These will be my shoes - Special Occasions Maggie. Very ''40s. They have little rows of diamante "bling" along the edges.

Thanks Freke! I think I''ve worn them only once or twice since high school, so that''s why they''re in such good shape. I left them in a closet and had forgotten about them until I decided to dig them out for the wedding. It''s good to know my old prom shoes get the Freke seal of approval!

These are my custom ballroom dancing shoes. I ordered them with an even shorter heel and had the light gold satin color for the main body of the shoe and the sparkly stuff for the middle t-strap.

Sparklicious: It sounds like you are in the seattle area and are looking for a lower heeled shoe. I ordered these from a great dance shop in the u-district called Center Stage, they have a great selection and everything is customizable!

Thanks, Liz. I consigned my gown from my previous engagement, but I didn''t have the heart to give up the shoes.

They are white, and they will likely go with anything I select for the next time around. They are dyeable, too!

Yep, I live in downtown Seattle, and am planning a wedding in Chicago....I''m now wondering how good an idea that was, but c''est la vie

I think these are going to be my wedding shoes- Vincente II by Caparros. I'm usually not a huge bow girl, but I surprised myself by liking these. I loved the Kate Spade shoe that both Meresal and Freke posted earlier (the peep toe with the big puff in front) but I couldn't justify the cost. But, these make me happy too!

ETA: Hmmm- that photo came out really small. Here's the link to a larger photo:

Wooo...I LOVE these. These are exactly what I have been looking for for my bridesmaids. Do you know if they are current/still available?

you should be able to google the designer and style, and it will show you if they can be purchased anywhere

Hi Meresal! Thanks for your help! (I''m not sure why I didn''t think to just google them.) Good news is that I found them...bad news is that they don''t have every size that I would need. The search continues!

You should search for them on endless (which is where I found them), Zappos, ninewest, and amazon. Amazon usually has everything that endless does, only cheaper if it's an item thats on sale. Perhaps even on ebay. What sizes do you need?

Overstock had a ton of sizes, but one of my bridesmaids needs a 10.5 or 11, and the largest size they had was a 10.

Kelly, with a toe that open, I would bet she could get away with a 10. Just a thought.

ETA: What color are you trying to get them in?
