Hi Ladies,

I really need some help from the PS community to direct me in terms of finding jewelry for the wedding day. I normally do not wear any accessories on a daily basis so I'm completely lost as to where to find some nice bracelets/earrings for the wedding day. I like more of a classic look, or maybe the 1920s glam look.

Thanks in advance, everyone! :wavey:

Nice, but not super expensive jewelry should be available at a good department store near you.

I found the perfect (sterling) necklace at our Foley's (now a Macy's), drop earrings, and a bracelet. All of which were close approximations of Leslie Greene pieces that I had coveted, but could not hope to buy on my budget. Somewhere, in some ancient thread, I believe I posted the images.

And, oddly enough, I bought the jewelry (which was very Edwardian-style) before I had the dress. And it was exactly right.

I found my earrings in Macy's - vintage-y looking pearl drops with some "diamond" accents.

I found my bracelet at Macy's as well. Very budget friendly costume jewelry at Macy's.

At Nordstrom, I found my necklace at the Nadri counter. It's a little pricier than macy's, but the design is more intricate than what I was finding at Macy's, and right up my alley.

Can you borrow anything from friends or family? My wedding dress was strapless in an antique champagne colour satin. I knew I didn't want a necklace or bracelet as my dress had hand stitched beads & diamanté on the bodice area, which was enough bling for me. So I borrowed my elder sister antique earrings that she wore for her own wedding some 11 years before. They were antique rose gold Art Deco drops with large vivid blue aquamarines on the bottom. They matched my dress perfectly, we're classic, articulated & big enough to catch the eye, as well as ticking all the boxes for something old, borrowed & blue =)
