I have the platinum Jovyn from CvB. ( https://www.etsy.com/listing/230453061/the-cvb-id-jovyn-classic-six-prong?ref=shop_home_active_50 )
I am getting married in three months - so I would like to have the ring by then.
A cw has a platinum and sapphire ring paired with a gold band. To my surprise, I liked the mixed metals.
My question is, if they are not the same hardness, would one damage the other? Or is that only on certain rings (like pave)?
My stone is an OEC/L color. Do you think mixing my ring with an eternity band (mrbs) would make the ering look dingy?
If not, where might I look for an eternity band that will match?
I like CvB's eternity bands, but in platinum they are a little more than I wanted to spend. I guess I am looking for something under $2500 (platinum).
I do also love orange blossom rings. I haven't found THE ONE, though. I love this one: https://www.etsy.com/listing/482148411/platinum-floral-pattern-amelia-band-from but I worry that I will wish I went blingier/more detailed/fancier for my wedding band.
I would be less sentimental about eventually changing and ering, but the band feels more permanent for some reason. I guess I could always add blingier bands later.
I know one poster here had CvB make the orange blossom ring above, and it is lovely.
Suggestions/recommendations? Thanks.
