We haven''t really told that many people because we want to get over the 1st trimester so its great to have people here I can talk to.

I''m more excited now about the wedding...or I guess I should say ceremony...now that our plans are more defined. We didn''t get a chance to see the restaurant this weekend but we''re going to try to go out this week. We also haven''t mentioned anything to his parents. I would prefer to wait but if we did, then that means telling them about the change in wedding plans at the last minute and I wouldn''t want to do that to them. We''re going there tonight so I can give them stuff I bought during my Europe trip and I''m leaving it up to FI to decide whether to tell them or not.
 
omg congratuations that is fantastic news! I just read your other thread about the wedding dresses and I was like huh ... am I missing something so then i went looking for this thread? Best wishes for your Dr''s appointment.

I know what you''re going through with the fast planning (I had about 6 weeks to plan my entire wedding in Vegas), but you''re keeping it small and intimate, which makes for the least stressful of weddings, which you need right now! Take care of yourself, and emjoy this time!
 
Congrats on your surprise! I recently found out I am expecting also - due in July.

My brother and his girlfriend found out last year that she was very unexpectedly pregnant. They decided to have a very small wedding last April - the baby was born in June. They planned it all in about a month. There were 11 people - both sets of parents, siblings and dates. They had a beautiful, meaningful ceremony followed by a wonderful dinner at nice restaurant. Her mother even had a very small wedding cake made at the restaurant that they brought out for a cake cutting. It was a fabulous day, and now they love being married and are enjoying their new family!

The choices for your wedding look great, and I''m sure you will end up having a beautiful day!
