Here is my stone set in a 5 stone setting with K colored traps and baguettes. I just received the finished piece yesterday.

Yes, the diamond looks really white to me too! I can''t quite wrap my brain around it yet, LOL, since step cuts are supposed to show their tint even more (fluor is faint, so that''s not a contributing factor). It''s definitely not a stark white, though. More of an ivory with nice warm flashes.

Stepcutnut, where in the world did you find those beautiful side stones.. I love them!! (understatement!!).. I have been research side stones for a new setting for my assher and thinks those are amazing!!

Thanks! LOL, the first thing my husband said when I showed it to him was, "That''s it? It''s way smaller than your other ring..."

You should have seen the backpedaling that took place the moment those words left his lips!

(though to be fair, it''s 8.17 x 8.09 mm, so comparable to a 2ct RB. Small face-up size is a price I''m happy to pay for this asscher, though. You want a mile deep look, you gotta have a mile deep stone!)

Thanks mommy2nk!!! I really love them I purchased them from David with Diamonds by Lauren-he has some of the most unique side stones available to him, I also purchased my kite cut sides from him as well and 2 pairs of newly cut old style cushions cuts-I will look for some pics. David is really great to work with too!

Diffused/indirect sunlight = bright and colorful, with warm toned flashes
