Want: Marquise diamond w/ sapphire accent e-ring

So my partner and I have been talking about getting married for a while now. I found this forum a few weeks ago and I''ve been searching for something similar to what I want. I haven''t been able to find anything close.

He and I went shopping a while back and went into a Christian Bernard jewelery store in the mall. (yeah I know, mall stores usually suck) Well we actually sat down with one of the designers and came up with my perfect ring. Very soon after they went out of business.

Here''s a basic description of what I was looking at:
5/8 to 3/4 carat Marquise diamond that''s somewhat narrow and not too pointed, SI to VS2
Oval sapphires on the side, not really sure how big they were.

Has anyone seen anything similar? I haven''t seen any with marquise diamonds. I really want something somewhat unique.

Hi Sabrina, I don''t recall seeing that specific combo. I''ll give you the link to a thread started recently that had a guy looking for ideas on a Marquise with sidestones. Maybe that will help? I''m thinking you''ll most likely need to get it custom made.

do you mean something like these perhaps but with ovals on the sides? not sure if you wanted your ovals to be on its side (E/W) or just upright?

The Leon Mege is almost exactly what we''re looking for, the only difference being sapphires instead of diamonds. That ring is absolutely gorgeous! I just sent them a request for a quote and maybe they can come up with a design and show me what it would look like. Thank you sooooooo much!

My love just retired from the Air Force after 21 years of service and I got out of the Air Force after 8 years last August. Needless to say our financial situation isn''t as stable as I would like it to be for us to make such a purchase, but I really wanted to know if I could have what we wanted. You guys are making that a strong possibility. I''ll keep you updated on what we find out.
