Wana play name that stone?

Here is an inexpensive stone with a big a** window that I bought a few years ago online. It was advertised as being "pad" color. This might be an easy one but I thought it would be fun to play anyway
The first photo is with a single light bulb in the room.

Linda, Thanks for guessing. It is indeed a spinel. Over thirty views and only one reply!! It''s sort of a tan under regular indoor lighting and not super exiting except it has bright red flashes ( spinel always has that bit of spark doesn''t it). But in outdoor lighting it becomes an interesting peachy pink and really shows a lot of fire. Sadly the window is huge and takes away some of the beauty in my opinion.
