Sales-people are a very interesting breed of humans. non-H&A jewelers say "why pay so much for a diamond, when the only time you can see h&a is when it is loose."

However, I found a site... http://www.wdcgroup.com/HeartsForEter.asp that (I think) sells a device that you can see the h&a when mounted. I'm not sure how that would work, but anyway, my question is, is it possible to see at least the hearts part of the diamond once it has been tension mounted? I'm guessing you wouldn't be able to see the arrows part because of the ring being in the way of the bottom view. If it is possible, any suggestions where to get the "viewer"?

Their scope has the same principle as any othe also shows H&A for the loose diamonds only.

to see the Arrows in the set diamonds.

It is true that one cannot see Heart pattern in a set stone.[/u]
