Very excited - Opulence Oval from August Vintage coming my way!

Hi there is no pm function I'm afraid! I'm not placed to offer much opinion as I haven't got it as yet, it's with David Klass being set at the moment (I make decisions slooooowly). @Starfacet may be able to help she also has one.
 
It looks very nice to me but I'm not an expert by any means, suggest you start a new thread and you will get some more educated opinions!

Honestly as per your first reply on your thread if you want best performance this will knock everything else out of the park! I had a big oval search in summer and ultimately couldn't find anything that was right because the performance wasn't ever going to be there. I almost went with a round brilliant because of it! In my case this will be my one and only engagement ring and I wanted to get it right. Very serendipitous that Jonathan announced a new shape as I was musing on what to do! There are some on this forum that aren't as keen and think further tweaks will improve or are more interested in the antique style oval that Jonathan is planning. However if you want with a modern cut, want it now and want superb performance I do not think you will do better.

@meely i just went back and read through your thread where you seemed super frustrated with your search (LOL - that's where I'm at right now!!). I'm shocked my BF still wants to marry me at this point because I've dragged him to see over 100 stones in person. I just want the biggest, most sparkly gorgeous oval diamond within my budget - is that too much to ask ? HA ! I am confident that I will have my perfect oval VERY soon. I appreciate all of your advice!
