Vathce Platinum Ring Owners: Show us your broken in rings!

Hi,

There is a thread in RockyTalky right now with some VERY mixed emotions about platinum and how it wears (patina, scratches, etc) so I'd be very intersted in seeing how 1,2,5,10 year old (whatever) Vatche rings look with typical wear since it's been said that some jewelers use different qualities of alloys than others, and I intend on buying a Vatche setting in the near future. So please show off your "well loved" rings so I (and other buyers) know what we're in for!

I have only had mine about 6 months but it's been polished a few times... I can take a pic of my palm and show a few weeks worth of wear lol

I don't mind the scratches on my e-ring. I've had it for 6.5 yrs. They add to the vintage feel of my setting. That said if I had a sleek, modern setting they might bother me. I like the weight and color of platinum.

I agree - the scratches are inevitable and just come along with choosing plat.

This is my Vatche Platinum 3 stone - worn and cleaned every day for the last 3 1/2years. Never polished - still beautiful

I just cleaned my ring (BGD 950 Pt/Ru) and I have some pictures to add. As you can see the wear is much more apparent on the bottom of the ring. It was polished around 8 months ago. Hope this helps!
