You''re so silly Ellen! I couldn''t help but log in when I saw Lorelei''s post but I had to feed the boys! You know those boys, they''ll eat ya out of house and home and won''t leave you alone till they''re happy!

So I received the remainder of the images from WF last night. The .5''s came first and they all look GREAT! I was in such amazement how perfect these stones all were yanno, feeling like I was on top of the world...

Needless to say we got a pretty good laugh out of it because it was so different than the others!!

Jamie is going to show it to Brian and let me know what he thinks, but I thought it was too funny! I mean going through the pics, basically how I just posted them, and then seeing that one... They probably should have showed me that one first, given me the day to think about it, then showed me the rest! My expectations wouldn''t have been so high, lol!!

lol at the black sheep! That's interesting, obviously there are no arrows in the IS pic of it, yet there's the faintest semblance of a couple in the actual photo.

While I know we aren't wanting super dooper loupers here, I'd ask them about the one at the top of this page. Its light return isn't up to the level of the others by the Idealscope pic, and I would want to make sure it isn't noticable when grouped with the other ones. I would have Lesley or Brian get them all together and make sure they all work. If they give you the two thumbs up, you're ready to go!

I should be getting a group shot either later today or Monday, that I can''t wait to see, and I will certainly keep that in mind, thanks! And I really don''t want the arrows to be too prodominent, otherwise it really will make my center look off.

Jamie said that it could be the polish on the .79 that made the pics come out like they did. The polish was only rated as good, the others are all vg/ex. I am very curious to hear what Brian has to say about this one and the group in general, but Jamie already had a couple other .75ish stones lined up to call upon.

Oh I know, I just found the two pics interesting!

Sounds like things are on the right track and going well. And it''s great there are back ups!

Problem is, the more and more I think about it I''m almost wondering if the first three stones are toooo good, know what I mean.
28.gif
I can almost guarantee that my center looks more like that last one.
Now I know they aren''t H&A diamonds, but why are the arrows so prominent? Will you be able to notice them IRL under normal lighting??

Maybe I should be looking for three more stones instead of one...
7.gif

On the plus side, if they DO work, maybe I can add them to your arrow thread Ellen!

I don''t see my arrows in normal lighting....

I see them sometimes, I really have to look for them though.

I know what you mean, but I would just be guessing on how these look in real life. Just stress to Brian that they "match" in behavior/appearance. He will understand what it is you''re after, and be honest with you.

Does WF have your center stone now?

No WF doesn''t have my stone, but I wish they did, I''d feel a bit less nervous. Seeing that it is now unset and uninsured I would be too afraid to send it. When I went to the appraiser I meant to have images taken of it, but when I was there I kind of got caught up in the moment talking about sparklies and the industry etc. She (the appraiser) really was such a sweet and well informed lady!

I think after I hear from WF tomorrow I will ask them if I should take it back to her to get images if it will help. I mean they have all the info of my stone and seem confident to find new stones so maybe I''m over analyzing again...? But I really didn''t think I would see such pretty arrows when trying to match my stone.

Ok, now I''m confused. Is WF going to make your setting?

Ok, now I'm confused. Is WF going to make your setting?
Oh yes yes yes!!!! I'm sorry if I confused you, lol, I tend to do that! They haven't asked me to send the stone yet so I was assuming that I could send it after they made the setting. This way they could send me the value of the setting after it's made, I could submit that to the insurance co. along with my stone's appraisal, and get my stone insured for when they set it. If I can't do that I would still certainly send them the center stone but since we are still in the process of finding matches, and don't know how much longer that will take, I would be a wreck just thinking about my diamond sitting all by itself so far away! I hope that clarifies it a bit for you, you've been such a big help with everything!

Ok, that helps! I was wondering how you were going to have them make the setting and set your stone if you didn't want to send it. lol Didn't think about insuring it after the setting was made.

And I was just thinking it might be easier for them to match the stones if they had your center, which is where I started with this.
5.gif

Yes, this certainly would be a lot easier if they had my stone!! And I spoke to Brian this evening, which was a total surprise! He assured me that the stones are two well matched pairs which is great news. He basically said that even though the other .79 didn''t look like the others in the pics it was a beautiful stone and I would not be able to tell the difference, and that makes me feel a bit better. He also said that the best thing for me to do was send them my stone as soon as possible (go figure!
3.gif
) so they could put them all side by side. Right now I am going to look into my options to try and get insurance so we shall see...!

So I thought I would give a quick little update! I was able to get a policy on my stone and sent it off to WF immediately for Brian to ok. After seeing it he said that even though my center isn''t a *perfect* match it is a very lovely stone and I shouldn''t be able to notice the difference. That was very nice to hear, especially coming from someone like him! He was a great help and put many of my questions at ease and I was very surprised how much time he spent on this for me. I still can''t believe how wonderful Whiteflash has been!

They took a pic for me to see all the stones together and I should have my CAD by the end of the week!!!!!!!!! YAY!!

Here they are!!!!
