Beautiful set!
I AM a little biased, as I often wear a similar yellow gold band, or a yellow gold channel set band
with my yellow diamond, too. I feel like it brings out the color of my center stone.

Thanks. Your ring in your avatar is divine:kiss2:. My ering and band are actually rose gold and the center diamond is held by yellow gold seat/prongs. The color is ambiguous in the photo I took though.

@Diamond*Dana , I LOVE this stack!

Thank you so much!
I realize it isn’t as “wow” as the ones frequently shown here, but I wanted something I could wear comfortable at work. I’m a nurse and am washing my hands and donning and doffing gloves more than usual lately. I found myself worrying about my usual set and pulled the trigger on this set. I received them on Tuesday and am already in love. Thank you again for your nice comment :)

SO pretty, @Diamond*Dana! I've followed your rings during the years! Do you still have your three stone and/or your oval? I loved both those rings! Surely it's time for a thread titled something like 'Diamond*Dana's collection photos!' - surely? Surely!!

Aw thank you! I do still have my oval, set in a halo now. The three stone has since moved on...years ago. Thank you for your kind words!

A casual CBI upgrade from .53 E to .70 G. I feel it’s beginning to look somewhat sizeable, although I do want to get to 1 carat by the end of the year! 4EA26407-F77C-4C21-96EC-A67B8DE0F1CF.jpeg

I love it! It looks bigger than .70 honestly, beautiful :)

So pretty. The oval and the marquise shapes go together so well! How unconventional and unique! Mind if we see some profile view?

My 0.81 carat FVVS1 oval, set in 18K white gold with little pear accents, ring size 3.75.

At the department store, I tried to capture how fiery this little guy is...

And here it is with my marquise half eternity wedding band.

I had this ring made with a 0.47ct, can't remember the exact spec., as an everyday RHR as the larger EC only comes out at dressier occasions.

It is set in platinum about 5mm in width.

This is my engraved channel set with matching band. .5 carat, G, VS2 triple x, 18k white gold. I had the worst time deciding on a wedding band because I wanted something that looked good and was comfortable. The formula that worked for me was to size way up to 7 for both and then solder them together. I’m shocked I like the soldering as much as I do but it just eliminates all the fussing I was doing trying to align them. It’s like a different kind of “mind-clean”! And because they’re sized big, I can sleep and exercise with my rings and it doesn’t bother me. 2D7E2895-A259-4AF4-94E8-FB8A30DA6B47.jpeg 621EB762-57D3-4408-B5A6-E9FBD677F672.jpeg

Ah, this just looks so elegant and bridal to my eye. Lovely and blingy enough to thoroughly enjoy and be nice for dressed up, yet understated enough for everyday dressed down, busy-with-hands wear, and much more durable than pave.

.80 D VVS2 cushion. Still love it as much as the day I got it!! Added the crown after having my son. 900024E8-3E03-49CA-84AC-CA6CA56B0D72.jpeg F7497683-EC8F-4DE6-BE36-36ABFF43A7B8.jpeg

This is so lovely and elegant and bridal, as well!

Just out of curiosity - do you wear a wedding band with it? I've been a bit fascinated lately with just wearing the engagement ring without a separate wedding band. I'm one of many enthusiasts around these parts that have multiple engagement- and wedding-ring type rings beyond my original ones and interchange them, but some of them, I've decided, just look so much better by themselves, or look equally good by themselves as with a band, that I've taken to only wearing the one ring on a fair number of days, and I'm curious how many others do that as well.

Thank you! It depends, I mainly wear both together but I do love the look alone! My ring is definitely due for a cleaning right now. E5D122AC-CDD8-4B3D-9683-CE0AFD4F8183.jpeg

Thanks! There's a thread going on now about eternity band vs. more traditional solitaire for an engagement ring and if I'd had the choice, I'd have gone band all the way. But, knowing what band I would have picked vs. my experience with this set, I have a good situation going on here. I'm a big cyclist - road, gravel, mountain - so shoving my hand into a glove and squeezing brakes for hours on end is totally possible with smooth channel set. Pave or any other prong-style setting would get painful! Someday I'll consider upgrading to larger, maybe bezel set, but for now the petite-ness is a blessing.
