Here is a sideview. The setting is done in a fishtail style. I love that there are no prongs, the entire ring is smooth so that it doesn''t catch on things. I also love that it sits low.

i got a tiffany lucida a couple of weeks ago. i know a lot of people prefer big diamonds on here, but small and sparkling is what i wanted and received. it''s a 0.38, D, VVS2. i''ll get some pics of it in the next few days. the colour is unreal!!

Lauren, you''re asscher is gorgeous, too. If I had gotten a white diamond, I would have an asscher, as that is my favorite shape. But to show off the canary color, I went with a more "sparkly" cut that still had the square shape. Love your bezel setting. Clean lines and simple settings are the most attractive to me. And I just think the smaller diamonds speak to understated elegance.

lumpkin, you are correct. it is slightly loose where it sits. my fingers are slender, but my knuckles are big. it won''t fit over my knuckle at a smaller size. so yes, it slides a little...but it''s not going anywhere!!

bee, do you know what size your lucida will be?? i tried on a few a little bigger. i always wanted a smaller one and i chose the smallest i tried because the D colour was too beautiful to pass up.

It will be a 1 carat or under, I want to try on a good few and see what looks best on my fingers. I don''t want a really large diamond either, prefer the smaller ones too. The D colour looks great.
