“This confusion was more pronounced among people 18 to 29 and those who earn less than $50,000 — two groups that could be significantly affected by repeal.”

Isn't that the way it goes.

Yes, I see how some of you do that, judging by this thread. You see what you want to see. And you only accept that which you want to hear and see.

Otherwise, you call out the cavalry and tell people to ignore it.

I never comment on this board. but this.....oh I almost fell out of my chair laughing. Funny how Mr. President does exactly the same thing you're complaining about. Only accepts what he wants. The rest is "fake", "unamerican", "lies" and my personal fav, "alternative facts".

I cannot keep up with this thread. I do not mean for posting/participating in it; I mean for reading. I feel as if the last time I looked it had 10 pages and now it has 19. I must have missed many postings. I hate that!

I'd give my right arm to have a Bush back in the White House right now. And that is saying something! :errrr: As angry as I get at R policies and logic/lack thereof, I would not mind being in the same room with some of them at a party. They are not without wit.

W.t.f is happening?! I'm lost at how it's allowed for POTUS to use his OWN F-ING PROPERTY THAT HE MAKES MONEY OFF OF in order to host a meeting in his capacity as POTUS. The entire thing blows my mind. If this was any other POTUS this would be front page news and everyone would be losing it. How does he get away with this crap!?

Republicans are in control. He will get away with anything until he does something so incredibly bad, they have to finally stop pretending that everything is just fine. The worrisome thing is that it will take him doing something irreparable before they stand up and stop him.

That, or when his approval ratings dip under 35%. At that point, they may grow some balls, because while numbers are "fake news" to Trump, most politicians live in great fear of low approval ratings.

Yes, couldn't agree more. Watching everything unfold is almost like watching some terrible train wreck. You want to turn away...but you just can't.

At some point he'll do something so reprehensible that he will be impeached. However it will likely be too late at that point.

I still maintain that when he reaches a low enough approval rating, I think he will finally see opposition in the party. I'm really hoping that's the case, and that it happens *before* he can start a nuclear war.

This was his original tweet - which he deleted, removed "SICK!", and then added ABC and CBS to.

I just got that notification too. Very scary and not normal at all. I truly hope they do get a psychiatrist over in the white house because I think it's pretty clear something's a little loose here.

It's a new and dangerous low for him, though I'm not sure how much lower the bar can go. I mean, he already mocked a disabled reporter a long, long time ago.

Looks like he's finally lost Joe Scarborough. For now, at least.

I heard Joe Scarborough this morning. Well...I hear him almost every morning. He looks like my next door neighbor. If I am not mistaken he actually lives near me in Connecticut. But his politics are the opposite of mine. He used to annoy the hell out of me because he was so conservative, He is a former Republican Congressman and he looks like all the boys who went to Greenwich High School in Connecticut in the early 1960's before The British Invasion. ;)) Am I digressing? He's a lot classier than Donald Trump, who may have money but is very nouveau riche. (It reminds me of a trip our history teacher used to take us on to see Hyde Park, the home of FDR on the Hudson, and The Vanderbilt mansion from The Gilded Age near it so that students could see the contrasts in style.)

To get back on track, Joe Scarborough has grown on me over time. I do not always agree with him, of course, but I do believe he is bright. He also knows how Congress works and knows many of the players in Washington personally. He also appears (appears) to have some integrity. I realize that this may be skin deep. Appearances can be very deceiving, especially on television. But he has become a bit outspoken about the the violation of the separation of powers and Donald Trump's disrespect for federal judges. I will give him that.

I agree; I'm very curious to read the general consensus online (haven't been on for long enough to find out; just had time to post the tweets/see for myself earlier).

The 38 number is, I believe, the same as his approval rating in the latest Gallup poll. So it makes sense!

Hiding his taxes is how he's gotten this far with this lie, don't you think?

I wondering if all hell would break loose if the American people actually knew a) how much Trump actually owes and to whom and
b) what deals Putin/Putin's people did and what lengths they went to, to get Trump elected to the white house

The lengths that not just Trump, but the Republican Party itself is going to, to hide those taxes - it is VERY telling.
