As soon as the door closed and the reporters allowed to observe for a few minutes had been ushered out, Trump began to talk about the election, participants said, triggered by the presence of former New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte, who lost her reelection bid in November and is now working for Trump as a Capitol Hill liaison, or “Sherpa,” on the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch.

The president claimed that he and Ayotte both would have been victorious in the Granite State if not for the “thousands” of people who were “brought in on buses” from neighboring Massachusetts to “illegally” vote in New Hampshire.

According to one participant who described the meeting, “an uncomfortable silence” momentarily overtook the room.

I know I read the other day that someone said, "Yes the president actually does believe that" in response to a question about whether Trump believed all of the crazy "illegal voting" BS that he's been spouting. I believe it was Spicer.

Today on "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me", panelists were challenged with the following:

Now that President Obama has mastered kite surfing, what will be his next activity?

My favorite response, from panelist Mo Rocca: "Just announced, he's developing a line of presidential bathrobes for Nordstroms."

W.t.f is happening?! I'm lost at how it's allowed for POTUS to use his OWN F-ING PROPERTY THAT HE MAKES MONEY OFF OF in order to host a meeting in his capacity as POTUS. The entire thing blows my mind. If this was any other POTUS this would be front page news and everyone would be losing it. How does he get away with this crap!?

Republicans are in control. He will get away with anything until he does something so incredibly bad, they have to finally stop pretending that everything is just fine. The worrisome thing is that it will take him doing something irreparable before they stand up and stop him.

That, or when his approval ratings dip under 35%. At that point, they may grow some balls, because while numbers are "fake news" to Trump, most politicians live in great fear of low approval ratings.

Just looked at over 20 sites and not one had issue with them continuing their meeting there.

After meeting in the White House, they went to Florida to give it a more personal touch.

I seriously doubt the golf course will profit as a tourist attraction because they met there.

So some of you need to take a chill pill because you are starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel coming up with problems that do not exist

Posting this for those who appreciate what an azz Piers Morgan is. He really is almost as bad as Trump. Just an awfully sexist jerk. I enjoyed this brief clip and if you feel the way I do about Piers, then you will too. Click the link to see the brief vid.

And that's why it's important that no one become complacent or let this piece of human trash's behavior become our new normal. None of this is normal.

Ruby, Have you not watched any news this week or read anything about what has been happening in the world the past few days? Some of us are very concerned and with good reason. I need to take what ever chill pills you are taking because I would love to start the day off thinking there is nothing to be concerned about.

Update with very brief comments.

1) If you're unaware of who Stephen Miller is, check him out. He's apparently Bannon level bad, with a ridiculous amount of influence; great friends with Richard Spencer, and reportedly contributed or else is responsible for entirely writing the EO Muslim Ban.

2) We see here that Trump is bringing back the Mark Cuban feud. Trumpers like to point out that "it doesn't matter what Trump tweeted a year ago", but if you want to stay current with his latest feuds, you may want to go back and reread the pertinent tweets. After all, we know that Trump NEVER lets anything go (except his ex wives!! ... joke!!)

3) No doubt "Prime Minister Abe" was eager to make his escape from the loony bin.

4) This tweet is of course being called out as a complete lie, though you will never hear trump admit that.

Just wanted to point out that I will be offline for large portions of today, starting shortly; so if anyone wants to contribute any Trump absurdities (or horrors) in my absence, feel free; if not, don't worry, I will return at some point to carry on.

WTF. So the "others" are all those innocent people who are being deported? Awesome job, moron.

This isn't from Donald, but it is from an interview with Stephen Miller.

We're the frog in the slowly boiling pot.

Memes, not tweets. I didn't think these warranted starting a new thread.

LOL. I love those "Trump shows off his EO's like a child looking for approval" memes - there are a lot of funny ones.

Memes are welcome here :). Especially memes that point out what an azz Trump is.

Recent - don't know what he's talking about bc I've been offline all day, but apparently if the media *doesn't* cover a story that he likes, that also equals fake news?

Four months have gone by and he still hasn't figured out that the campaign is over.

I can't believe no one has commented on the handshake that shook the world, or at least the prime minister of Japan. Abe's face at the end, priceless. Poor Abe had to school Trump on how to pose for pictures....Cheeto "What are they saying?" Abe "Please, look at me." Trump "Ah." And then Abe has to tell him to look at the camera again. Cheeto has cheez whiz filling his cranial cavity.

hahahahahaha!!!! Not a tweet, but a wonderful CNN article about the interview w. Stephan Miller. Love how CNN's interviewers are no longer taking the BS the WH is trying to spoon feed the media. It doesn't matter how loudly Trump and his cronies yell about voter fraud--yelling doesnt make it true.

President Donald Trump's senior policy adviser on Sunday repeated Trump's unsubstantiated claims that people were bused from Massachusetts to New Hampshire to vote illegally in the swing state during the 2016 election.

But he provided no evidence to support that claim or other claims of widespread voter fraud.
In a contentious interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos on "This Week," White House policy director Stephen Miller repeated Trump's claim last week that he would have won New Hampshire were it not for "thousands" of people being bused there.
"Go to New Hampshire. Talk to anybody who's worked in politics there for a long time. Everybody's aware of the problem in New Hampshire," Miller said.
Stephanopoulos pressed Miller for evidence to support Trump's claim, but when none was given, said: "Just for the record, you have provided absolutely no evidence."
"George, it is a fact and you will not deny it that are massive numbers of non-citizens in this country who are registered to vote. That is a scandal! We should stop the presses and as a country we should be aghast about the fact that you have people who have no right to vote in this country registered to vote, canceling out the franchise of lawful citizens of this country," he said. "That's the story we should be talking about! And I'm prepared to go on any show, anywhere, any time, and repeat it and say the President of the United States is correct, 100%."
CNN fact-checking has found no evidence of widespread voter fraud or of 3 to 5 million illegally cast votes.
Stephanopoulos replied: "For the record you've provided zero evidence that the President was the victim of massive voter fraud in New Hampshire. You provided zero evidence of the President's claim that he would've won ... the popular vote if 3 to 5 million illegal immigrants hadn't voted. Zero evidence for either one of those claims."
Later in the interview, while discussing Trump's plans for the country, Miller said that "the non-citizen voting issue is pervasive and widespread and we are going to protect our country from voter fraud."
Stephanopoulos ended the interview by saying: "You can start by providing evidence to back up your claims."
