Trying to choose between two marquise diamonds - help needed

I am trying to choose between two diamonds.

Diamond 1 (on left of photo)
Colour J
Clarity SI1
Dimensions 9.38x4.88x2.52mm
Carat 0.76
Very good polish and symmetry

Diamond 2 (on the right)
Colour G
Clarity SI2
Dimensions 8.42x4.7x3.09mm
Carat 0.75
Very good polish and symmetry

The chosen diamond will be set in platinum for an engagement ring.

Any advice? Both diamonds are similar in price.

More info:

Certificate for diamond 1 shows one line inclusion near to the right hand side of the table. There are two small inclusions on the underside near to the left hand side.

Certificate for diamond 2 shows two round inclusions in table and two smaller ones on the bottom left of diamond face. There are also smaller inclusions on underside (6 of these).

You really need straight on views of each stone and aset images.

Price is 1400GBP and 1450GBP set in platinum. As I said the price isn't too relevant because they are so similar in price. I just need to pick one stone from these two.

of the ones you posted from the little i can see from the pics i like the J better than the G but i wouldnt go down to a J in a marquise unless you know the recipient would like it first. I understand the want to buy in your country but I asked about prices only because i had found this little number and if you compare the face up size, it looks more like a 90 pointer and even with the VAT you would, i believe, be paying less (theres a calulator at the bottom of their screen.

I know youre not looking for recommendations, i had just seen this one looking through there marquise and saw this one, seemed like a steal.

Thank you for that. From the photograph I also think I prefer the J but I was concerned about it being too shallow. The diamond database comparison tool said so! And another website mentioned this depth being too shallow so it would have quite a noticeable bow tie effect. I can't see this in the photograph though. When I saw the photograph I was concerned that the inclusions on the G are easily visible when I zoomed in on my ipad screen. But then the colour is whiter than the J!

I am finding it impossible to pick one - that is why I am asking for opinions.

The ring is actually for me - my fiancé has chosen the setting and has asked me to pick the diamond from these two. A jeweller friend helped him to choose them. The setting is bespoke and I need to pick a diamond so that they can get on with making the ring.

oh ok. I had a K (or lower who know, it didnt come from with a certificate )marquise And i actually didnt mind the color. So if you dont, then perfect.

You cant base marquise just on numbers. It may not have an issue with the bowtie, though it concerns me that they wouldnt take a strait on shot.

The cut is my number 1 concern with stone two, but yes I can see some inclusions From that photo.
