The Prato della Valle in Padua. I don''t so much usually like to travel alone but the memory of strolling around the Prato della Valle at night sampling all the ice-cream parlours and watching the rollerbladers, all by myself, is very precious!

Few years ago, DH and I went to Prague for a week. I''d been a couple of times before and visited a wee place called Kutna Hora which is an hours train ride outside Prague. So I returned to Kutna Hora again and took some pics. This sleepy wee town is famous for its church. This is what is outside the church....

This is the Church of Bones. Hundreds of years ago thousands of people died from bubonic plague and couldn''t be buried in hallowed ground and because there were so many of them they didn''t know what to do with them so a local monk decided to decorate the church with the skeletons of the dead. It really is a sight to behold and I will never forget seeing it for the first time. I''ve only posted one pic as its not everyones cup of tea.

closer to home - Loch Lomond, 10 mins from my office. Where we go to get a break during lunch sometimes. Even better in the summer when the roof is down on my car.

Po your photos are beautiful! I''ve been in a church like that before but for some reason I can''t clearly remember where it was. I think it was in Rome though? Why can''t I remember, this is frustrating!

I''m going to have to go back and read this entire thread, so much beautiful stuff in here.

Here is the west coast of Ireland yesterday, Paddy''s Day
