Trading my AVR for a Premium Vintage Cushion

I'm trading my AVR for a Premium Vintage Cushion. The plan when I bought the AVR was to eventually trade for an AVC, and I may still get an AVC someday. I've enjoyed my AVR, but I'm happy trading it for the PVC.

Here are the basic specs for each diamond.
AVR: .60 ct, M, Si2. 5.3 mm
PVC: .90 ct, N, Vs2, 5.58 mm x 5.99 mm

Here are some pictures comparing the two diamonds. I'm interested to hear your comments.

I stalked that cushion forever trying to justify buying it. I honestly thought it looked so close to a branded AVC & couldn't determine why it wasn't. Great price point on that stone! Glad to see it turn up here, I was a bit sad when I saw it sold & hoped it went to a PSer.

I know you've had warmer stones, do you have setting idea's? YG or RG? Excited to see what you do with it :))

Niel, thank you. I'm happy with the size increase!

Thanks, woofmama! I bet RG would be pretty, but I've only owned WG and I will probably go with that because I'm comfortable with it.

Thank you, acinom! I also adore the color.

Thank you tyty333! I've never seen an AVC IRL, but this stone reminds me a lot of them and I still love it even though it isn't an AVC.

Both are beautiful. What a sizeable difference from the AVR to the cushion. :lickout:

Thank you ccuheartnurse, diamondseeker2006, lknvrb4, and missy!
Thanks kmarla and arkieb1! I'm not completely sure how I will set it. Probably in a plain WG solitaire. :twirl:

I've been waffling over what to get the last several days. I couldn't decide between a plain solitaire and a dainty pave setting (like my EC setting). There were a few reasons why I finally decided to go with a plain solitaire: 1. It will look great with some stacking rings, 2. It costs less, and 3. It will display my stone beautifully and 4. It is easier to maintain (I don't want to worry about losing those pave diamonds).

I chose this Gabriel solitaire https://eshop.gabrielny.com/product/ER8686W4JJJ because it has cathedral shoulders and a cute scroll detail in the profile. It looks like it will sit flush with a band--so, it's perfect for stacking. I have a cute little berricle band that looks like the one pictured with the setting. I love how it looked with my AVR solitaire, but forum rules prevent me from sharing those pictures. However, I do have a super skinny diamond band that I can share on PS, so I will be sure to come back with pictures in a few weeks when the ring is set.
