i have a halo, and when people ask, i usually say the weight of the center. in my experience, that's the info they are usually looking for.

I say- "just over a carat and a half" (the center-stone) unless it is a friend and then we can gush about details.

I have only had 1 person ask, and I told her the weight of the center stone.

if people say anything, they usually ask if it is real, or make a statement like " that is huge" although last week I had some one ask me if it was a family heirloom piece.

I wasn't sure what they were getting at by that question... I just told them no,I designed it and loved how it turned out.
