To halo or not to halo?

I don''t know if there are any "trends" ... there''s millions of women out there with a plain solitaire too. It just depends on what YOU like. I have a ritani endless love halo, and I adore it! However, I don''t like all halos on all rings.

The nice thing about a plain solitaire is you can 100% change the look with the band you get, if you get tired of it. I think it''s harder to do that with a halo, because I feel that the band looks better if it matches the halo- IMO.

Sleep on it- if you just REALLY want one, get one. I wouldn''t worry about what is or isn''t a trend. You''ll always find someone else that has a ring similar to yours, so go with what you love.

I have a 1.38 pear shape solitaire. Gorgeous! It makes me happy just looking at it. But i cant help but feel i really want a halo. Now this is the problem, do I follow along with the trend and have a million other girls with the same ring or just dress it up with a pave band... Oh wait thats a trend too! So confused and I only have a month till we are married!

I feel just like you! I too have a pear solitaire and would like to halo it, but at the same time, I love it as a solitaire. I got it in April and have been meaning to reset it, but something keeps holding me back. Then last month rather than resetting it I upgraded my round diamond and reset that into a pave setting, so now I don''t know if I want to halo the pear anymore!
I didn''t get a halo around the round one but I don''t want two rings that look very similar (both having a thin pave shank).
Have you seen the vatche halo setting? I never saw it on a pear but I love the thinness of that halo. It''s my favorite for a round.

I love your pear the way it is! But I''m a solitaire girl, and I think of all the gorgeous pears on PS, Diamond*Dana''s .62 solitaire https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/reset-my-pear.99338/ is one of my favorites. Not sure why, but it makes me want one! That said, I think JCarla''s ring is stunning, and for a while I really wanted a colored gemstone pear in a halo. Sorry. Clearly I am no help! But I do think maybe you should wait until after your wedding to proceed with it. One month isn''t a lot of time, especially if you may just change your mind afterwards anyway!

I think your ring looks gorgeous just as it is. The more you look on this site the more gorgeous rings you will see. I would take my time, get through your wedding and then see how you feel
