Just sharing because I am excited to start an official stone search!

(I am looking for an OEC around 1.5.)

I've been on vacation but now that I am back at my desk I am going to start searching sites, yay!

I hope to find something online that can be mailed to me so I can check it out.

I am planning a (dating) anniversary trip to NYC next month. So, if I don't find anything before then maybe I can visit some retailers there.
I am guessing they have a variety.

If anyone wants to help me browse (if you are bored), I would love to see what you find. :D
(budget <9k for the stone)

Oh, ok. I looked again and see a couple of chips on the edges.

You would probably need to bezel that one due to the very thin girdle in areas. Would certainly want to know how much
of it is very thin.

Ooh yeah, disregard! I looked at the additional pics and you can see a few tiny chips on the girdle (which would probably be okay if you wanted to bezel it), but also it looks like there's a visible inclusion on the table? There are a couple other good options on the same site that hit 7mm, including some transitionals. How are you planning to set it?

I am fairly certain I will ask DK to make me a halo similar to this:

Old World Diamonds is in New York. I'd contact Adam and see if he can have a few things for you to look at in person if you're going to be there anyway: http://oldworlddiamonds.com/contact.php

Thanks. I think this is just going to be the easiest way to go.

I am going to contact him and ask for an appointment.
