Time for a new gem box

So I purchased some new stones and my two 25 stone gem boxes are filled up. I should probably bend my mind to setting some. But first, here are some pics of my new purchases. These are all from Master Cut Gems.

First up is a .96 ct Nambian demantoid garnet. It's a lovely, lovely mint green color. The downside is that it's pretty included but the color makes up for it. This stone was cut by Gray Weaver.

Next up are a pair of Mali garnets. They're rovals at 6.8 x 6.7mm. They're really, really beautiful gems. Lots of fire. When I ordered them I was thinking earrings but now I don't think I could bear to put them in my ears.

Next up is a .57ct demantoid pear which I got as a freebie. It's an olive color rather than a true green but the lighter body color lets the dispersion show.

And finally the last freebie is a .89 ct Umba garnet. It's a really pretty pink-red color that goes a bit peachy in fluorescent light.

I saw an amazing pair of mali garnet earrings a couple of weeks ago - set in white gold with a micro-pave halo... they were incredible. I'd guess each stone was about 1.2ct. I'm looking for a matching pair of rounds so I can recreate them.

Such amazing gems! I think the mali garnets would be great earrings. (of course that means you'd be in the mirror all the time to see them lol)

The Namibian demantoid was totally unexpected; it is so blue in the shade. The Umbalite is another gorgeous stone too.

I like the blue that some Namibians have. The umbalite is another one that is very pretty.

Very pretty stones, but my favorite is the Namibian demantoid. The color is beautiful, almost glowy.

Thank you all for the kind comments. I was very pleasantly surprised at how the mali garnets lit up when I took them into the sun. It was a really stunning transformation.

And now I am in desperate need of settings.
