Hello everyone!!

Do you all think that the Tiffany shared prong eternity band (the smallest one available) would look good with a Mark Morrell Sunburst? I love the classic look of the Tiffany engagement ring and wedding band, however the e-ring prices are just so high. I was thinking though that the wedding band (although also high priced) would be a little easier to swallow. And I do love the Sunburst. But I know that MM uses a slightly different platinum than Tiffany. Would they look OK together? I know I could have Mark make a similar wedding band, but there is just something about how delicate the Tiffany one is, and I love the open basket look and the profile. I also like how low it sits. Decisions, decisions..........

I think that is an outstanding choice! Yes, the platinum will be fine together! Wait until you get the MM ring and then go and try on the Tiffany ring to be sure. I also love Tiffany bands and agree that it is not as much of a leap to pay the prices for the wedding bands. And please come back with pictures for us when you get them!

Oh, thank you for the response diamondseeker!! I consider you an expert!!

One question, do you know if Mark Morrell has any "sample" pieces to send out for people to try on? I REALLY love the Sunburst, but would love to try it on. I also would love to see in person the difference between the Sunburst and Petite Sunburst. It would be so great if he had models in silver (not platinum) that he could send.

I think the combination will be very good. One thing to consider: will the Tiffany band rub the MM setting? You need to ask Mark about this and tell him you want to put a shared prong next to it. In some settings, the diamonds from the band can contact and rub the prongs on the ering causing a slow wear and tear action. If he knows what you have in mind at the start he can make the most appropriate recommendations for your setting.
