Hi Ladies,

I have seen a ring I like, it is a Tiffany Novo ring, it is sooo beautiful and wanted to compare ring sizes against carot weight!

If you have a Tiffany Novo ring, can you please post it here with your ring size, ct size and price (if you want to)

Looking forward to seeing your beautiful rings!!!!

Here are some links to old threads.

Thanks for your help, I cant get this one to work! But the other two threads were very helpfull, I have traweled through the whole website loooking for pictures, prices, sizes of Tiffany Novo''s, however there seem to be a lot of large stones, but not a huge amount under 1ct. I would be looking for one between .60 and .75 and I think Cosmogrrl has one between these sizes and another user has similar, i think I need to see how a Novo of this size would look on a 4.5size ring finger, and see if I can get away with it! Some people think the pave diamonds on the band can drown out a center stone if it is too small, but I think i might be able to get away with it with my little fingers!!!

Thanks for your help!

Youre right, I would be sacrificing size for the Tiffany brand, i think that is a decision I will have to think very carefully about before setting my mind to it, i wouldnt want to be disappointed.

Thank you for the ebay threads, I had seen two on there but one was new, I liked the size of those rings, and it has made me feel a lot happier about the size I am looking at so thank you for that!!

This is the decision I am still trying to make. If it helps, I went into Tiffany and tried on a few Novos, I wear a 3.75 and I thought a .56 carat was "way too small" because the diamond tended to fade into the band. I then tried on a 1.17 and it seemed perfect for my tiny fingers. I think I will be going with GOG''s replica because I think i''d rather lose the brand name over the quality and size... but we will see what happens!

Hope I helped!

You want to know my honest opinion .. I really don''t like the Novo setting - the profile view is blah to me. When I am out with my friends, my non-Tiffany rings get way more attention than the Tiffany rings. You just have so much more selection and variety when you go outside of the blue box.

This is a .76 g vs1 I have a size 7. I don''t think it looks too small on my finger and the center stone stands out. FYI tiffany allows you to trade in your erings and 90% of the purchase price goes tword your upgrade, the only catch is that it has to be double the purchase price but its a good excuse to get a much bigger diamond! You should try some on and see what you think.

Many PS vendors also have this sort of upgrade policy.

I''ve seen several near replicas of the Tiffany Novo setting around, for a heck of a lot less. I, too, love the Novo and it was one of my favorites when I was hutning for an engagement ring. I just didnt like how little diamond you got for the price. It certainly is a beautiful ring though.

Ditto on the selection and variety.

Wow, yours is gorgeous! I''m looking at the Novo''s and this would be the size I wanted, when did you buy it jn4? Also, if its not too cheeky, how much did it set you back!

Thanks! My fi bought it in november of last year it was about 8300 plus tax. They had another one that was the same size but it was H I think VS1 for about 7700. If you let them know what price range you are looking in they can find a few different sizes, colors and clarities. Hope you find what you''re looking for!!

If you are open to other options, check out the Novela at Brian Gavin Diamonds. I have it, but with a round diamond in it. They are more than happy to put a cushion in it for a look close to Tiffany''s. When I went to the Tiffany''s store to look at diamond bands, the lady commented that my setting looks close to the Novo, heh heh heh.

I tried on a 1.2 carat cushion Novo on my hand once, it''s very delicate, but was smaller than what I was used to b/c I have a 1.3 round. It was pretty, though, and that''s why I ultimately went with the Novela when I reset my diamond. For reference, I have a 6.25 finger.

Just put this 1.3ct on my ladies hand this week

gorgeous!!!

I have a 0.51 Novo.... I understand what you are saying about the center stone merging in to the band. Sorry the picture is not the best.

You can''t really replicate the novo b/c the diamond cut is still protected by a design patent.

I think they are pretty in all sizes!
