Ame, I see. BTW, there's no Cartier where I live either. There are two in the state and both are in Honolulu. I don't live on Oahu and the chance I could go there just to go to Cartier is nil.

I know that the home is an endless money pit!!!! We have been renovating and fixing stuff for 20 years!!!!! Old homes (and even new ones) are never really finished.

I think getting a new couch can be uplifting because it improves your living environment and shows an investment in your future. Having a nice home can trickle positive feelings into other areas of your life.eg being house proud might mean inviting more people over and having a better social life etc. which improve your relationship etc


You can always get a ring down the track when you are more sure about it.

Yea that's where I am. I actually told DH Im half inclined right now to sell my e-ring back to GOG. I am so over rings.

I personally do not like having people over, so the new couch is mostly for him to lay around on. I usually sit on the loveseat anyway. But we need the windows, we've put that off for a few years now, and Id like to be able to open them from time to time.
