Well after looking at seemingly a ton of settings, I took my fiancee to be ring shopping Thursday evening primarily to get her ring size. Little does she know I''d already purchased a stone lol. We looked at a variety of stones and shapes and after all was said and done, she''s picked a round stone. Whew... her best friend said she liked the princess stones but after viewing several compared to rounds etc., she still prefers to brilliance of a round.
That all being said, the style setting she likes is a 3 stone round setting. Go figure, I''d planned on something different lol. I purchased the stone from Whiteflash and it''s 1.01 carats. Here''s the link to the stone:

I''ve found a nice 3 stone setting on the WF site. The pic is below. I am wondering about the side stone size. This setting has two .25 carat sides for a total of .50 carats. Relative to size, I don''t and she doesn''t want the main stone to be over powered or blend in if you will with the side stones and end up looking like an anniversary ring. Her thoughts and mine are that the side stones should compliment the main center stone.
How about some opinions on the sides? Do you feel that the present stone size will accomplish that or would you suggest going perhaps a tad smaller?
Here''s the pic of the setting.
Thanks! Boogey Man
