For the price it’s a good buy however It’s not a “fabulous“ sapphire. It’s quite “sleepy” so it won’t have much sparkle.
The other issue is that a trillion cut is an unusual shape. You’re probably going to have a custom setting made and that can be much more expensive than purchasing a cast setting. Is it worth spending hundreds extra for a custom setting for a $95 gem? Most would say no.
If you are looking to create an economically priced ring, better to look for oval shaped gems at 7 x 5 mm or 8 x 6 mm or round gems as 5mm, 6mm, 7mm. These are standard sizes and there’s plenty of ready made settings available to fit these sizes.
