Thoughts on this relatively low cost stone? I'm still learning and am not sure I fully understand, but in that first hand photo does the stone have a relatively noticeable 'window' ??

Chrono, when people say 'close the window' in relation to setting are they referring to having it set with a closed setting / lots of metal behind stone?

Yes, but it doesn't have to be completely enclosed or even as drastic as a "tube". As long as it has a busy gallery or a halo style, it should be sufficient.
