I didn't manage to get IS images as I was under time constraint and could not wait the 5 days or so to acquire them. Haven't got it on me now but can post pictures later.
I had a good look at many diamonds over several months and can safely say the one I bought without seeing was my favourite. The inclusions are well spread and I was a little worried about the one at 3 o'clock but it is not visible face-up after very careful scrutiny.
In brick and mortar stores it was incredibly rare to come across ideal cut stones by pricescope standards. In comparison a 35/40.8 was very bright with particularly excellent fire and scintillation. Despite not examining it under the halogen lights of a jewellery store, it appears bright, even in light starved scenarios. They say a 34/40.8 would appear brighter with less fire and scintillation but I wanted something with more fire. I think if you don't mind the colour, that should be a lovely stone.
What are the crown/pav depth percentages? 15/43?
In terms of a good deal, I think for a VS1/I that is a very good price. I struggled to find SI1/Is 1 RB for that price! Which vendor are you using out of interest?
It's certainly worth looking at but if you're forced to buy it sight unseen with no refund/return policy then I'd pass. It appears to be a good deal especially if it's a GIA graded stone.
