HCA score is 4.0

I know anything under 2 is considered excellent and that it's mainly used as a weed out tool and all that...

Anyone else's thoughts on that score?

It's funny when I put in the percentages instead of the angles I get a 3.8 score. Regardless, when I saw the diamond I thought it was really good. But then I went to HCA and it kind of deterred me. So I was wondering what people's opinion is...

I think that is a steep/deep which may have leakage under the table, someone like stone or yssie would know more though.

what type of lighting did you see the diamond in? if you have a chance to see it again, make sure to look at it in different lighting (preferably away from the jewelry store spotlighting, maybe by a window). If you can compare it to an AGS0, that would be good as you can compare it to an ideal cut and see what you prefer.

I just saw it in the stores, just a beginner that's why I figured I'll confer with you guys. =) So is this a terrible diamond or is it ok?

well, terrible is subjective. it's not an ideal cut, that's for sure.

Ditto. Depends on what you want and if the price is good. Not a stone I would go with.

I see, I appreciate your opinions. Thanks.

I agree with this.

What was the price?
