Thoughts on these two diamonds

what are the specs? Experts can't comment on these photos alone.

GIA-2248691649
AGS-104093851001

Experts would say the AGS but just want to get opinion on diamond photos

Thanks yes it is a $10k price difference so that's why I'm trying to decide

One diamond has a bigger spread, larger table and larger table reflection. Its contrast pattern is less defined and less clear. For this reason, it appears brighter in this photographic and lighting condition. The smaller one is closer to TIC than the other one. It appears a bit yellower.

I did not look at the reports. I will assume the smaller one is AGS. With more clear contrast pattern, it is probably better cut. But both are beautiful.

To be dead honest, I like the bigger one in these photos, even though I think the smaller one is AGS and better cut.

If we are talking about the same diamonds the larger diamond is closer to the palm and the smaller yellower diamond is higher up.

I am preferring the bigger one as wel even though the smaller one is a better Clarity and better cut

Interesting, the one close to the palm (left or bottom in these photos) actually has a smaller diameter than the other one.
The 35.5/41 combo explains the less defined contrast. I also surprised to find I was able to tell the color difference easily.
Regarding HCA score of 4.0, I don't really use HCA anymore.

Again, in these photos and lighting conditions, I like the G SI1.

PS: did you clean both stones properly?? The H VS2 looks rather dull..

Based on the pictures you provided, there is one obvious winner: the diamond on the left!

I will clean and reupload tomorrow but they should both be cleaned under similar conditions. I agree with being able to tell the color difference when makes me think the G might be closer to an F and the H closer to an I

Now I remember this one from previous threads.
Very strong light return, minimum leakage and relatively defined contrast (although not perfect) for a 35.5/41. I think it is a beautiful stone. This is where HCA fails miserably when it comes to some 35/41, 35.5/40.8, and 35.5/41.

The first photo is a bit unfair for the ACA because the camera is too close and you are seeing alot of camera reflection in ACA, which has a clearer contrast pattern. But other photos from different viewing distances also show the G SI1 is a strong performer.

I still think it is a reasonable buy for the price you paid. It appears so white.
I am not liking that H VS2 because of the obvious color difference.

Yup, definitely the one closer to the palm and if that one is 10k cheaper, even the better! I can't believe that the ACA is facing up so dull in a few of the photos and yellowish, I really would have not expected that..

:) now you remember - I decided to buy both so I could compare in person. Yes I will load more pictures tomorrow. But the ACA does have better contrast in person and can see more clearly. But the color difference has been surprising to me as well. But as you mentioned both beautiful stones

Not the best photos - wanted to get them in sunlight but missed my chance.

I have to say, I have taken enough diamond photos to know that they rarely show the beauty of a diamond accurately. I just happened to post pictures of my new ACA diamond studs a few minutes ago! In almost every picture I thought that I could never accurately show the beauty of those diamonds in person! And I NEVER could get both stones to show well when taking pictures of the pair..and they were virtually identical!

So, I am an unapolegetic fan of ACAs. I've had several (and have several now). I value top cut quality. I would absolutely choose that ACA (or another..they have two other H VS2's between 3-3.5 cts, and they could tell you which are higher H's...they just matched color for 2 H VS2 diamonds for me for studs). I also very much would favor VS2 over an SI1 in a diamond this size.
