Gypsy - I hear ya about the blue. I like it, but she may not - I am not sure bc she has probably never seen a blue diamond and this could be a minus (or a plus). But, since it is an engagement ring, I would rather er on the side of caution.


As far as the comparison, well compare no more as the Ritani has been sold!!
So back to the WF 2.29 - at around 20K it is within the budget. I am wondering if it is better if I should go for an H instead of an i. Having seen a J, I wasn't too impressed and everyone on here usually recommends H.

Is it reasonable to think the above? The pricepoint does change from H to I, but I can keep on looking and see if I can find a decent H.

How does the above compare to this WF 2.29 i/si1?

Also, can online vendors photoshop the idealscope/ASET images to make them look better? I figured this would not be hard to do.

There's no incentive to manufacture false results. As their reputations are worth me.

But vendors do use filters and such for their scans. And that's fine as long they are consistent and use the same filters and such each time. Each vendor's photo set up is a little different and so is the processing of the photos after the image is taken.

I am sure the incentive is there because they can provide a better price than competitors. However, since the internet days, I am sure people would have caught on by now.
