Thoughts on these pear shape diamonds for earrings

Hi Everyone!

I want a pair of hoop earrings with a tear drop charm. I''m currently looking at these two stones. Would .46 be too small on each ear?

At first I wanted them to be attached to the hoop but I think the charm will make it more versatile .

It sounds like a lovely idea! I think you have posted the same diamond twice though, could you check please? Also when dealing with SI clarities, always ask the vendor to check for ' eyecleanliness.'

Sorry, I can''t offer any suggestions or comment on the size as I don''t know much about pears ... I just wanted to say that this is such a great idea and I''m sure that these earrings are going to be PHENOM!

Those pears both look good and have the chunkier facet look that I love, so I would ask JA how they would match as a pear and for 'eyecleanliness' etc - at that size and for the purpose you want them for, they might be just right!

Also pears may have a bigger spread than rounds of equivalent weight, so these will make dainty yet noticeable charms in my opinion - I LOVE this idea!

My stones arrived today. I spent a few mins playing /examining them since I am at work and have to keep it hidden.

Now I have to find a pair of hoops and have the cast the stones into a charm.

I spoke to Dave intially. He is very nice. But being the difficult and demanding customer that I am

, I got to speak to Jim. He's more than accomodating. I've got the extra piece of mind from talking to the president of JA and got his expert opinions on a bunch of areas that bothered me initially. But he reassured me the diamonds will be nothing but beautiful and will make an amazing pair of earring jackets.

Yes, I did get the PS discount and the wire discount too. Did you get the wire discount? I think I got both.
