Thoughts on James Allen Diamond

Hi,

I just wanted to get some opinions on the below diamond from James Allen? Its a 2.1ct I-VS1 that fits closely into what Im looking to spend. Is there anything that should concern me? The HCA score on the stone is 1.7. Thanks for your help.

The below was another diamond I was looking at. Lower clarity rating and slightly smaller, but an HCA of 0.8.

an HCA of 0.8 isn't better than an HCA of 1.7, anything less than 2 should be considered. HCA is just an exclusion criteria of those above 2.

I much prefer the proportions of your VS1 diamond. It is within TIC range, where the second diamond has a shallow crown so will favour brightness rather than fire. The 35/40.8 diamond will have balance between the two.
