Thoughts on 0.88ct E-ring

Hello all,

I've reserved an e-ring with the following diamond. My Budget is ~$5,500. Her finger size is 4.25. :

Diamond:
0.88 ct I VS2 ACA, H&A
Measurements: 6.14x6.18x3.81

This is the setting that I will be using. I am going with a slightly smaller shank (1.8mm) to emphasize the center stone. I know it is palladium but she is allergic to nickel so white gold is not an option. Platinum is too expensive for the style she likes. She's expressed to me that she likes palladium as well.

Good choice of center stone, good choice of setting. Choosing an ACA stone with an AGS 000 report is a no-brainer. The I color will face up white; the halo will conceal the side view of the stone, so the slight tint should not be an issue. (I color is said to be where many people can start to notice tint. But there is really not much tint in I. Tiffany and some other brands cut off at I color, because J is really into the slight yellow range.) People speak highly of the Ritani settings, but I've never seen one in person so I can't comment except to say I'd certainly consider one.
