This setting for an AVC? What do you think?

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for an inexpensive halo setting for an AVC. It can't be a custom piece, it has to be a stock setting. What do you think, would this look okay with an AVC in your opinion? Would it fit the 'feel' of an AVC (i.e. vintage and antique-y)? It's pictured here with a round, but I did confirm that it can take a cushion as well. Thanks for your thoughts!

I think it is a beautiful setting, but with an AVC, I would prefer that the edges be more rounded similar to the Vatche Grace:

Are you sure you want another halo? I think it's an okay setting but... I guess I'd prefer something really different from your beautiful halo AV ring.

Very happy you like it susimoo... If I wanted another halo I would totally sick an OEC or a transitional in there. It's one of my favorites as well.

I am now doing the reset it or save the money for an upgrade dilemma in my head!


However, given the recent price increase even adding the cost of this setting onto the purchase price of my RB, I still couldn't buy my RB in todays market!!!

MY fave is the vatche antique as well (excel tends to have the best price on that setting). I think an AVC would look amazing in that, give you the size boost you want, and be a little different from your ering!

I love the other Vatche setting as well, but I would have them add milgrain!!! I would also show GOG the price from Excel on the setting and see if they would match it. Much easier to deal with one jeweler when possible!
