She got her name: Bao Bao (Precious, or Treasure). Oh gosh, you just want to snuggle that little ball of adorable fur! So tiny when they're born, more like baby rats than pandas; it's easy to see why mothers sometimes squish them. The disparity in size of adult vs baby seems more extreme than in most mammals, doesn't it? Anyway, I'm in love. Thanks, Kenny!

Just precious - I love following this new addition! I agree about the size disparity; it's a thousand wonders they ever survive! Momma Panda seems so devoted and caring though - it has been a real privilege to watch the progression!
