Thinking a/b purchasing this 1.5 ct ring, is it a good deal?

I am looking for a ring for the girlfriend, and recently was quoted the following prices from a jeweler in NYC. I am looking for a GIA triple excellent, around 1.5 ct, G-H, SI1 for around $10-13K.

The two rings I was quoted that I am seriously considering are the following:

1.) 1.52 ct, H, SI1, xxx, GIA cert #2216662997 for $10,600 and
2.) 1.7ct, H SI1, xxx GIA cert #3215222310 $13,900

I was also quoted a 1.5, G, SI1, xxx, for $11,970 but I was not a fan of one of the inclusions in the stone. Are these stones a good deal for the price? Thanks.

Your question would be better posted in the "Rocky Talky" forum. Show me the bling is more for finished and purchased rings/jewelry. I would recommend moving it.

I agree. I think you might get more input in Rocky Talky. Hit the report concern button and ask the mods to move this thread to RT.

Also, you can use the diamond search function to get some idea of what similar stones would cost, etc. :wavey:
