Who Thing2, you''re the next contestant . . .

I gotta go back and read, I just scanned the pictures and let me just say that I want you and your FI to get to breeding so I can adopt one of your gorgeous babies!!!!!!!!!!!! You two are hot!

HI:

Whoa timely thread!;) Nice cats and cute fiancee.

Now about my jeans
9.gif
! I wanted to ask wtf is up with my Marc Jacobs demins that have this ridulous white (faded) stripe front and back of both legs. At first I thought it was from folding them in half, so I rewashed them, but that faded white line is here to stay. Too 70''s
32.gif
!! I am not pleased! Is there anything I can do? Redye? Will the white stripe take the dye? Thanks!

cheers--Sharon

Finally! It''s nice to know more about you of the gorgeous lashes. Please do let me know when you next come to NY.

Hahaha! The creases are supposed to be slimming...Paige Premium Denim does it a lot, too. I don''t know of a solution for them, though! I''m not sure how you could redye them. Are they super dark? If they''re super dark I would imagine you could maybe dye them...

That''s a bummer-I do like the Marc by Marc jeans a lot-the pockets are super cute!

HI:

No they are a medium wash, so the creases are very noticable--and I am a stick bug already so all you notice are these WHITE STRIPES!

Oh well, on to the next brand.....

thanks!

Thing, you and your siblings are ADORABLE and so is your fiance.

Your eyes are huge and beautiful. Like Ellen, I howled at your post in AWTW (having to pray 192 times). I adore your sense of humor

You and your sister are too darling for words.

Love reading about you.

Aw, thanks Linda! And I''m glad I could amuse you all! I think I mostly just amuse myself!

Hi Thing2! Its lovely to read about you!

I am interested to hear what its like being part of a large family.. especially with large age differences. My children range from 18 down to 4 years old and I often wonder what its like for them.

I''ll miss your rational and intelligent posts in ATW, though, but I understand! It seems to have just gotten nastier since the election was over, but I kind of love the drama so I know I''ll stick around!
3.gif
Hmmm, someone must have been logging in and posting under my name....
hmmm.gif
You''re too kind, but thank you! I''ll miss posting to many of you, but I have enough negatives in my life as it is, I can''t see self inflicting more. lol If I were younger I might be up for it. But I''ll still lurk and read, so keep em coming girly. lol

And I''ve said it before, but I''ll say it again, your guy is really handsome, you lucky duck. You two make a great couple! And wow, Olivia is gorgeous, those eyes!! btw, love her name too. I wanted to name my last baby boy Oliver, but I was affraid kids would make fun of him, so I didn''t. I later told him that, and you should have seen the look on his face as he exclaimed quite loudly, Why would you want to name me THAT?

And Sharon, really, we do not need to hear how skinny you are.

Hi Thing2! Its lovely to read about you!

I am interested to hear what its like being part of a large family.. especially with large age differences. My children range from 18 down to 4 years old and I often wonder what its like for them.

I love being part of a large family! Holidays and family get togethers are always so loud and fun. We''re a fun family, if I do say so myself! My dad traveled pretty often when I was younger, so it was mostly my mom with all of us during the week. My mom is pretty much the best mom in the world and we talk almost every day. I talk to my dad maybe once a week on the phone-we''ve gotten a lot closer as I''ve gotten older. I also go and visit them pretty often and they come see me, too. We live about an hour away from my parents.

Since I''m the baby (with my twin sis) by 5 years, it was probably a lot different for me growing up than it was for my older siblings. As the babies, my twin sister and I were a little spoiled. I didn''t have to do many chores because the older kids did most of them. Needless to say, I didn''t mind that!
9.gif

My three older siblings used to (and still do sometimes) call themselves the "Original Family" since me and my twin came along so late!
3.gif
Growing up I played with my twin sister constantly and sometimes I played with my brothers, too. Because they were a fair amount older than me, we didn''t have a lot we could do together. I did play baseball and street hockey with my younger older brother a lot, but he probably didn''t enjoy it as much as I did! We used to build forts in the woods and go exploring, too.

I actually wasn''t very close to my older sister until she moved back home after she got her college degree and was working on her Master''s degree. She left for college when I was 7 so I didn''t really get to know her until then. Now we chat a lot and have fun when we hang out, although she has 2 kids now so we don''t have a ton in common as far as our lives go. I''m not super close with my brothers-I think that''s kind of how brothers are, though. I talk to them occasionally, and one of my brothers lives about an hour away from me, so I mostly see him at family get togethers, but occasionally my twin sister and I will go visit him. All the sisters talk to each other a lot, though!

I think overall it''s great to be part of a large family, because I never feel like I''m alone and I never feel like I could be alone. It''s like having a big security blanket. My fiance is an only child and his mother raised him, so I sometimes think it will be just terrible for him when his parents die because it''s just him.
8.gif
(My parents are never going to die so I don''t have to worry about that, though!) But seriously, I will still have 4 brothers and sisters so I''ll still feel very connected to my childhood and my family, and I imagine it would be a lot harder if you were the only child.

Let me know if you have any other questions about growing up in a big family! I just started rambling so I''m not sure if I answered your question well!

I understand, Ellen. I'll miss you over there, though! But I'm back to the other parts of the board more now that the election is over, so I'll see ya around.

And thanks for the compliments! I better not tell my fiance he's got a bunch of hot ladies thinking he's dreamy-he'll get all conceited and leave me for one of you!

I love the name Oliver...if I ever pop out a boy that's definitely on the list! Sounds like your son's pretty glad you didn't name him that, though!
3.gif

I must admit that I love it when you smack people!
9.gif

haHA! Thing! You are so cool--I heart your style. You and your man are gorgeous! Whoa!
I'll have to venture back over to ATW to read your posts--I don't even lurk over there. Seems those threads often break out in fisticuffs. I had fun over there several months ago, but the RANCOR pushed me out--haHA--always think you are so funny--and agree with you 100%.

So nice to come back on and learn so much about my girl crush, Thing2! (Well one of them, I don''t want any other of my PS girl crushes to feel slighted).

Ditto everyone else - your fiance is such a dreamboat! The two of you are so adorable together. Do you have a wedding date? I don''t keep up with the threads very well it seems.

I also have three cats - different rescue stories. I''m quite a sucker.

Happy Thanksgiving to you, and thanks for so often being my voice, but better, on ATW.

I just went back and read and I WANT YOUR JOB!!! That sounds like so much fun. Granted, I hate shopping, well I hate shopping for myself. I love shopping for other people. Although I''ve recently become obsessed with buying cute things for myself. I''ve been living on anthropologie.com for a bit too long. I''m broke!

Thanks for the compliments, and thanks for starting me my very own thread, fellow girl crush! I feel so honored!

And I have many PS girl crushes as well! (You, Ksinger, Moon...the list goes on but I''ll stop so I don''t leave anyone out!) I also have a lot more girl crushes in real life than crushes on boys. I just like girls the best!
3.gif

I do have a wedding date-7/11/09! I haven''t done a single thing for it yet except book the venue. I guess that''s the most important part, though! I should have known you would be a fellow cat lady! I love my kitties so much!

Happy Thanksgiving!

It is a fun job! I love shopping so it''s basically like getting paid to shop! Anthro has good stuff! I love to shop online-lately I''ve been snagging so many deals online it''s insane! And all this saving money is making me very broke, so I feel your pain!

Thing, trust me when I say the crush is mutual. You are freaking hilarious, I always love your posts. Besides, who else am I going to talk about Q-tip with? I just bought a $200 dress at Anthro, I NEVER do that! But DH gave his stamp of approval (what''s wrong with him, he NEVER does that!).

So, I need some advice. I''ve been considering replacing my Buddha statue with an Obama statue, what do you think? I should probably buy some knee pads first, huh? BarackHusseinObamaRamaDingDong...repeat until completely enlightened.

Your husband sounds like a keeper if he''s giving a stamp of approval to a $200 dress! Guess that''s why you married him, huh?

Which dress did you get? Care to post a link?

I would definitely recommend replacing your Buddha statue with one of Obama immediately. So many magical things have happened to me since I started praying to Obama! I was blind before and now I see, my cats don''t fight anymore, my fiance''s leprosy has cleared up completely...you name it, Obama fixed it!
