I'm looking for some new (to me) apps to check out. Which ones do you find useful or fun?

my new to me and quite useful is one for Target called Cartwheel.
Its an app that gives you secret extra savings on selected items. You scan the barcode of what you are purchasing and it might load and extra discount on your passport. Yesterday I got and extra 10% off Christmas cards and another 5% off and already on sale Boppy ( shower gift) You also can get coupons based on friends purchases. You can also stack with your RED card and manufacturers coupons!! :appl: :appl:

My favorite apps are:
-Find My iPhone (this is partly security related, and partly because my MIL takes some rad trips and we like to stalk her whereabouts...swimming in the Rio Grande? SWEET!)
-1Password--password management and worth every cent
-Dropbox--I use it for file transfer for my business and for photo backup for my phone
-Fantastical2--I like it better than the stock calendar app on my phone
-Google Voice--I was able to save my old number that gave me issues, port it from ATT to Google voice, and not pay ATT for it anymore, and forward the calls to my current number. The app/service allows me to essentially screen call
-TurboScan--great scanner app. I use it a lot, and I have several of this type of app on my phone.
-Mint--the budget site's app.
-Evernote--fantastic notetaking and general "stuff" storage app, also like EvernoteFood for recipes and restaurant lists
-GSN Casino--casino game app from Game Show Network
-ProHDR--great photography app for light adjustment.

Ame, 1Password sounds interesting! I looked it up in Apps, but didn't really understand how it worked (i.e. what I have to do to make it work). Also, have you seen Password Manager (Free)? It has 4.5 stars with over 5K reviews... sounds pretty good.

I have, and I know this sounds crazy, but you cannot convince me to use a FREE Password Manager because I am not convinced they're not accessing my data and that it's truly secure. The "free" in anything isn't really free.

I blogged about 1Password. It was a learning curve at first but now it's pretty easy. I do wish when you entered in something it would automatically be done, sometimes I have to reenter something 4 times. It's annoying. But that's been the same with any other app of the same I tried. LastPass would jumble logins all the time, and the wrong password would be tied with the wrong login so I abandoned that one.

With 1Pass you essentially set a master password (which you HAVE to remember and cannot reset without being into the app, and you can't get into the app without it), and then you can add logins and whatnot from inside. I also have a secondary numeric passcode as well. I have like 100 logins, etc inside of it and it backs up to my Dropbox account.

Thanks! I'll check it out...

its still on sale, so if you want it, grab it now. It's REALLY worth it. It can generate REALLY secure passwords, and will save them for you, and if you go through it to browse the web on your phone it's all secure browsing. I can totally help you if you have questions.

I will check on Cartwheel.

One of my favorite apps if Flipboard. You pick from their listed websites ones you are interested in (like news, politics, science, technology, entertainment, Facebook, etc.) and it presents their webpages like a magazine.

I also like "Find Friends". I call it my stalking app; it lets me see where DH's phone is and since he travels a lot it makes me feel better knowing he made it to his hotel or airport or even when to get dinner in the oven when he's on his way home.

I use tapatalk for PS.

Check to see if your bank has a mobile app; mine does and you can deposit checks by taking pictures of it with your phone.

Some of the grocery stores have their own apps where you can load digital coupons up on your customer card.
