I've been seeing a few of these big honkers show up on PS and now they've wiggled their way into my dreams at night, so I've been looking but not expecting to get lucky. I came across one and asked on here about it, but it was quickly sold to someone else while I was trying to learn all I could about OEC's. I just didn't feel like I knew enough to shell out that kind of money.
Fast forward to now, I have the opportunity to pick up a 3.54 ct for a good price (and a great return period). Here's the dimensions:
9.60 x 9.35 x 5.64
J - SI1
Looks eye clean, but I haven't louped it. It's not lab graded, but from looking at a ton of stones it looks like a J si1 to me. I'm not too picky, I'm more of a size lover, but I do want a good cut obviously. The girdle is clean, there is no fisheye from what I can see, and no lazy facets either, but obviously I'd know more once I see it. It's from a place that doesn't specialize in jewellery, but antiques on the whole. I have a grab from a video he emailed me, I know it's small and blurry but it's better than nothing.
I know this is very limited information, but it's all I've got for now!
