I would be 5 1/2 weeks so the RE said that something would be visible if the pregnancy were going to take.

I'm disappointed my temp didn't stay up at least a few days more, but trying not to worry about what that means for the future. As much as I was prepared for this not to be my month, I was still really sad this morning when I saw the drop.

My plan is to have the beta drawn on Wednesday and when they call me to give me the results and schedule the u/s I am going to request it be on Thursday instead of Friday. I know it is only one day difference but I just want to get this behind me. And on Friday, I have mommy and me swim class with my son and he is going for his 2nd Birthday photo shoot, so I don't want to have to reschedule any of those fun things with my son in order to accommodate this emotional ultrasound. So I hope they will accommodate and give me the u/s on Thursday.

Last month AF came 13 days after O, but I noticed the tiniest amount of brownish cm on 9 and 10dpo. We'll see what happens this time.

I'm now on CD 43 of my third cycle. So far I'm just more impatient than anything (not worried, yet). The past two cycles my LP has been 10 days. So even if I O tomorrow, I'd probably be going on a 53-54 day cycle for my 3rd-go-round. Hence my feeling I'm going longer and longer between cycles. Which when I'm no longer TTC, I'm sure I'll be like "This is AWESOME!" But for now, I'd rather get something regular every month. So that's my story... Still waiting.

Sorry, I knew it was a long term one but didn't recall. You know, anecdotally, I read a lot from women who were on bcp like that and some said it was 6 - 12 months to get "back on track"! It makes sense. Your body was used to being in a sort of holding pattern for 3 months at a go. For your cycle to happen naturally, there is a really complex interaction between all the body's endorcrine systems, and feedback loops between the brain and ovaries and uterus to get the right pattern of hormones brewing. If that was interrupted in the way those 3 months pills do, I imagine it could take a while to regulate! Poopy if you feel a rush to get pregnant, but on the other hand, more delay means more "you time" too...
