Linda-I am kinda bummed about it too! Maybe the setting can be opened up a little bit?
It is also kind of an expensive setting for this stone!
What percentage do you ladies like to spend on the setting vs. the stone?
Thanks LD! The setting is awesome IRL!!! I had inquired about having one custom made and it was going to be at least 11K to start off and then they said they didn't want to make it for me because of all the labor involved. So when I saw this setting at an high end estate jewelers(made by an in house jeweler) I jumped on it. But for the life of me I can't remember the jewelers name and can't find the receipt!Date: 4/13/2009 3:35:05 PM

Linda-no doubt I to spend much more on setting expensive stones, but when it comes to less expensive ones-I have a tough finding less expensive setting ideas I like. It is so tough!Date: 4/13/2009 3:43:29 PM

ha ha ha, here goes T-Gal with another question thread.
SC. With my pads, I purchased expensive settings for them. For cheaper stones, I wouldn't pay for a really expensive setting. That is just me though.
I hope your setting can be opened up. I am in love with that setting and stone.
It''s on hangout for you.Date: 4/13/2009 3:43:49 PM
