Lol. You''re right, I hardly ever wear socks. But when I do, Emeraldlover1 rocks them!

(Only during workouts, and the winter--we get a little bit-sometimes a lot-of snow. So I have to wear socks then!)

My name is Karen and I would love to be added to the ladies in waiting list! I have posted a few times - not for awhile - but have been a constant lurker since March!

My bf and I have been together since May of 2006. We are both 28 and live in Utah (SLC) - so I am considered an old maid! Average age for marriage here is 22 I swear!


We have a ring being made by a local jeweler named Charley Hafen. Its a princess cut that is set on point but because it is being custom made, I have no idea exactly what it will look like!

Even when it is done, it is a mystery to when he will propose - the ring must be paid for as well - so I am in the dark but am waiting anxiously!

It''s so fun to read all the posts and have such a plethora of information!

Hello! I would love to be added to The Ladies in Waiting List...I''m new here but I''ve been an onlooker for a couple months and it seems that the list brings luck! It would be an honor to wait it out with the rest of you all. Everyone seems so friendly!

I''ve been with my BF for almost a year, but we''ve known eachother for almost 3. He wants me to be completely and totally suprised right down to the type of ring...It''s a sweet thought but all of the unknowns are driving me crazy! I''m hoping this place helps give me patients while I wait it out!

Hello all you LIW!

I have recently found this site and began enjoying all the great info it has to offer, so I would love to be added to the "official list" of LIW. I also wanted to say thanks to some of the other LIW who have responded to my posts on the different threads.

To give my stats/background: I have been dating the bf for more than a year, living together for 7 months. We are in our mid-late 20''s in DC. We have been ring shopping and he has already asked my dad for his blessing, so I am hoping for a somewhat short stay here (maybe 2 or 3 months).
