I feel sort of weird: I sort of skipped the proposal part.

Actually, we just can''t afford a ring and I''d rather have a simple wedding band and get a nice diamond for an anniversary or something. We realized if we waited for a diamond, we''d have to wait a long time to get married and that''s no fun!

We started talking about getting married (which we already were planning on) and the thing took off. We''re so excited and happy it''s insane and really nice.
